José  A.  Alfano FRAIA, AIA, RIBA MAA is the  Founder and Managing Design Director of Studio Alfano Architects(Alfano Pty Ltd Architects) a specialized design research based practice headquartered in Melbourne Australia working in the International Arena with Project Offices in New York, Hanoi & Victoria Brazil  and an IT Lab in Singapore  / London UK .

Alfano Studio is a research based interdisciplinary practice focused on Environmental Sustainibility in  Architecture, Urban Design, Specialist Digital Engineering & IT solutions and innovative integrated design outcomes. 

The Studio offers integrated design and construction services with workplaces and strategic alliances throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Brazil and the Middle East .

We fulfil the role of principal lead design  /  creativity consultant driving major international projects working with multinational and Inter-govenmental groups such as AECOM, WSP, Mott MacDonald, Brookfield Multiplex & Lend Lease.

José is an expert in Waterfront Design, specialised Buildings including Tall Towers, Marine Terminals, Hospitality , Health & Commercial buildings, Urban Design, Major Retail, Hospitality, Commercial, Research, Educational facilities and Public Infrastructure projects requireing specialized technical solutions. 

Jose has also fulfilled the role of project Creative Director / Thought Leadeship Leader on major public & private (PPP)sector projects as well as appionted to numerious Government Advisory roles both Nationallay and Internationally.
